Oppo is preparing to launch the Find X9 series in October, and leaks already give us a complete look at the hardware. The Find X9 Plus is expected to feature a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Security is handled by an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an upgrade over the optical sensor used earlier. The design also comes with IP68 and IP69 certifications, making it both dustproof and resistant to water at high pressure.
At the heart of the Find X9 Plus lies MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC, paired with Android 16 topped with ColorOS 16. Oppo is also bringing back the Plus key, a customizable button first introduced on the Find X8 Pro but missing from the standard X8. Extra touches like the x-axis linear vibration motor and stereo speakers enhance the day-to-day experience.
Oppo is keeping the spotlight on imaging. The phone packs a triple 50MP camera setup: a main sensor with OIS, an ultrawide, and a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. With Lumo Imaging technology and Hasselblad’s tuning, users can expect improved low-light performance and more natural colour tones. The selfie camera also gets a bump in resolution compared to the previous models.
The Find X9 introduces a range of upgrades:
Oppo has not revealed the exact launch date for Nepal, but the Find X series generally launches in Nepal soon after its launch in India, based on what we have seen in the past. According to international leaks and price trends of previous Oppo flagships, we expect the price of the Oppo Find X9 Pro to be around NPR 135,000 to NPR 145,000. The price of the other variant, the Find X9, will likely be around NPR 115,000 to NPR 125,000 depending on RAM and storage availability.
