Google Pixel 10 and 10 Pro Leak: Design, Colors, and Nepal Launch Hints

Google is set to announce its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, on August 20. This time, Google is switching up its chipset with the new Tensor G5 SoC, the company’s first chip produced by TSMC, not Samsung. This is a significant shift in hardware strategy and could improve performance and efficiency.

Pixel 10 Pro Colors and Build

The Pixel 10 Pro will be launched in three color options Porcelain, Jade, and Moonstone. The device in Obsidian, which is more like a black dark greyish color, uses a matte glass back, and the glossy metal frame of the Pixel 10 Pro gives an overall nice feel to the smartphone. It appears that Google is sticking with the classic Pixel design with little modification.

Pixel 10 Design and New Camera Setup

The standard Pixel 10 will have Obsidian, Indigo, and Limoncello finishes. The leaked version will look similar to Porcelain, but it apparently is different enough to be considered a different color. Unlike the Pro model, the Pixel 10 will have a matte frame instead of a glossy frame. Although it is designed similarly to the Pixel 9, there will be a noticeable difference in the camera island since it will be stretched to accommodate a third sensor, which is rumored to be a telephoto lens. However, early leaks seem to show that some of the other two camera sensors may be downgraded slightly as well.

Leaked Renders from All angles.

Like all of the other Google Pixel devices, the Google Pixel line remains consistently leaked from all angles. The last set of leaks indicated that we saw one colour of each model, to showcase not only the design, but also subtle differences between the standard Pixel 10 and Pro version. In many ways, Google is achieving their goal of differentiating the two models by their frames (matte vs. glossy), as well as the overall colours they offer in the designs while still trying to maintain their uniform identity of the product family.

Expected Pricing in Nepal

While Google hasn't made the Pixel 10 series official in Nepal, we can expect the phones to import from authorized importers soon after a global launch. If we follow history and market trends, we would expect the Pixel 10 Pro to join (FOR) somewhere between NPR 135,000 to NPR 145,000 based on variant and availability. Similarly, the Pixel 10 would likely fall in line between pricing of NPR 105,000 to NPR 115,000. The final price in the Nepali market will clearly depend on the colour options and storage variants available.
