Huawei to launch the Mate 80 series, which will have three models Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, and Mate 80 Pro+. All three of these devices have recently been listed on certification websites for China, and have been assigned new certification codes: the Mate 80 (VYG-AL00), the Mate 80 Pro (SGT-AL00), and the Mate 80 Pro+ (SGT-AL50).

Rumors of Design and Cooling

Rumor has it at least one of these variants will feature an internal fan; however, unlike previous implementations where the fan was housed within the frame or cover, it will sit on the side of the circular camera island. Despite additional ventilation, the Mate 80 series is still expected to hold impressive water resistance. The camera island will remain centrally placed, and circular in shape, featuring a dual-tone LED flash in the upper-left.

Charging Speed, Other Specs and Hardware

While charging won't be the same across the board, the Mate 80 will receive 66W Wired charging, while the Mate 80 Pro and Mate 80 Pro+ leap to 100W charging speeds. The series is expected to feature new Kirin chipsets, specifically one of the models will reportedly take imaging performance to entirely new levels, or at least levels aimed toward extreme-quality imaging.

Expected Price in Nepal

Huawei has not provided clarity on when it will launch in Nepal. Based on the global pricing patterns, the Mate 80 could be price around NPR 115,000 to NPR 125,000, while the Mate 80 Pro might be around NPR 145,000 to NPR 155,000. The Mate 80 Pro+ could be priced higher, likely above NPR 165,000 depending on storage options and availability.
