Vivo is gearing up to launch its next-generation X-series flagship smartphone, the Vivo X300 Pro, and key details about the device have already surfaced online. After yesterday’s camera specs leak for the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro mini, today renowned tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed more information about the Vivo X300 Pro on Weibo.
According to the leak, the Vivo X300 Pro will sport a 50MP main camera powered by Sony’s Lytia LYT-828 sensor, which is a 1/1.3-inch type sensor. This will be accompanied by another 50MP ultra-wide lens, providing a high-quality wide-angle photography experience.
However, the 200MP periscope telephoto lens, using a 1/1.4-inch sensor. What makes this camera even more interesting is a new anti-reflective coating technology, designed to reduce lens flare, a common issue in night photography or when shooting directly toward light sources.
The Vivo X300 Pro will use MediaTek's new Dimensity 9500 processor. This fits the pattern, as the Vivo X200 Pro had the Dimensity 9400, and the X90 Pro used the Dimensity 9200. Vivo seems to stick to a steady upgrade path for its high-end phones.
Rumours indicate that Dimensity 9500 could be built on the same 3nm process, offering improved performance and energy efficiency. If MediaTek announces the chipset in September, the Vivo X300 Pro Nepal launch date may be around October 2025, similar to the X200 Pro timeline.
Vivo's X-series phones have built a solid name for themselves with their camera skills often sporting top-notch Zeiss lenses. The X300 Pro shows Vivo's drive to break new ground in phone photography offering sharper sensors and better lens tech.
At the same time, a different Vivo phone, the X200 FE has shown up on several certification sites hinting at a China release. It's expected to be a cheaper version of the top tier X200.
